About the role

Role overview

As a Mobile Application Developer (Android) on DataAnnotation’s coding team, you’ll help advance AI development by completing and explaining programming tasks designed to train AI systems. The work is fully remote and paid hourly, with flexibility to choose projects and your schedule.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems with an emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)

Preferred qualifications

Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift
Prior experience as a Software Developer / Coder / Software Engineer / Programmer

Logistics & pay

Fully remote: work from the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand
Flexible schedule: choose projects and when to work
Pay: hourly, up to $60 USD/hour (higher-paying projects may be available)
