Mobile Application Developer

Role Overview

You will join AgileGrid Solutions as a Mobile Application Developer, focusing on building and maintaining the company’s native Android application. The role emphasizes improving user experience through reliable, high-performance mobile features for a diverse user base, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android features using Kotlin
• Build and deploy mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and other financial services
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate UX designs into functional interfaces
• Integrate backend REST APIs securely and ensure the stability and reliability of mobile experiences
• Optimize performance (reduce crash rates, improve loading times, responsiveness, and memory usage)
• Use analytics, user behavior data, and production feedback to continuously improve the product
• Develop AI-assisted mobile experiences where they add real value to the user journey

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Android development with Kotlin
• Strong understanding of Android fundamentals and experience shipping production apps
• Proficiency with modern Android architecture components: Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow
• Experience integrating REST APIs and troubleshooting production issues
• Strong attention to mobile UX/usability and handling edge cases
• GitHub familiarity (version control) and a portfolio of apps or contributions
• Strong English communication and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Portfolio demonstrating previous mobile app work or meaningful contributions
