About the role

Role Overview

Eventeny is hiring a Mobile App Engineer to build and improve the company’s iOS and Android mobile applications for its event planning platform. You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to ship features and enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile apps for iOS and Android
Write clean, efficient, reliable code following mobile best practices
Collaborate cross-functionally to define, design, and ship new features
Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and bugs to improve app performance
Build responsive UI components for an excellent user experience
Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and programming techniques

Requirements

1–2+ years of experience (mobile/software engineering context)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Proficiency in Flutter and PHP
Experience with mobile UI design principles and implementation
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating mobile apps with backend services
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and growth mindset

Nice-to-Haves

Technical writing experience (1–2+ years mentioned) or experience creating written content for business needs
Interest and/or passion for the event industry and new technologies
Alignment with Eventeny’s mission and values
