About the role
Role Overview
Crossing Hurdles is looking for a React Native Developer (contract) to provide expert-level feedback and technical insights on complex React Native application code, workflows, and cross-platform mobile patterns. The work is remote with an estimated 10–40 hrs/week.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level feedback and insights on React Native applications and workflows
- Review and annotate sample code, design patterns, and mobile best practices
- Identify and document cross-platform challenges specific to React Native
- Contribute to improving AI systems by supplying high-quality, detailed examples and explanations
- Collaborate remotely with a diverse team on UX and UI/UX patterns
- Participate in structured technical discussions; explain rationale in writing and verbally
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency with React Native and its ecosystem
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and mobile application architecture
- Proven experience building and scaling mobile apps for iOS and Android
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience debugging and optimizing React Native apps for performance and scalability
