MLOps Platform Engineer

Role Overview

Lead initiatives at the intersection of scalable cloud technology, AI-enabled capabilities, and business transformation as an MLOps Platform Engineer for a client in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. You’ll collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to turn complex requirements into practical platform solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term innovation.

Location & Work Model

• Remote (US-based candidates only)

Responsibilities

• Design and operate cloud-native AI infrastructure and tooling
• Establish operational foundations for AI systems, including CI/CD and scalable inference infrastructure
• Build infrastructure to support AI services and agentic systems
• Integrate MLOps capabilities into platform operations for monitoring and incident response
• Define governance and security protocols for AI infrastructure aligned to regulatory requirements
• Mentor engineers and help shape platform architecture and best practices
• Contribute to the AI and data roadmap and drive technical strategy

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
• 5+ years hands-on experience in MLOps and agentic systems
• Proficient in building cloud-native infrastructure and managing Kubernetes
• Experience supporting AI workloads including deep neural networks and LLM runtimes
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security and operational risk for AI systems
• Clear communicator with strong collaborative skills

Compensation & Benefits
