Role overview

Join Hayden AI’s Perception Deep Learning team as an MLOps Engineer. You’ll lead the design and evolution of the machine learning platform so teams can build, deploy, and scale models with reliability and speed.

Responsibilities

Design and evolve the machine learning platform and supporting infrastructure for training and operationalizing ML models.
Collaborate with perception, deep learning, and platform engineers to improve end-to-end ML workflows.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve workflow efficiency.
Influence technical strategy, mentor engineers, and promote a culture of:
- Reproducibility
- Observability
- Continuous improvement

Requirements

General software engineering skills with 3+ years of programming experience.
Strong experience in Python and its ecosystem.
Familiarity with Linux.
Expertise in infrastructure, cloud, and/or MLOps.
Strong communication skills; ability to collaborate with ML and software engineers.
Education: Bachelor’s degree with 3–4 years experience, or Master’s degree with 2 years experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

Experience building MLOps pipelines for deep learning perception solutions on AWS or GCP.
