Role Overview

Crossing Hurdles is hiring a Member of Technical Staff (Zara) for a full-time remote position. You will design, build, and deploy scalable AI models and the supporting infrastructure, including advanced LLM and multimodal systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable AI models and infrastructure using Python and AWS
• Develop and integrate advanced LLMs and multimodal systems into core platforms
• Collaborate with product, research, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Build efficient APIs using LangChain and FastAPI to improve performance and interoperability
• Stay current with AI advancements and drive adoption of cutting-edge multimodal AI technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience with Python and building systems in AWS environments
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, LangChain, and multimodal AI frameworks
• Proficiency building APIs with FastAPI (or Flask / similar)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently

Compensation & Location

• $160K–$300K per year
• Remote (United States)
