Role overview
Join Warner Music Group as an ML Engineer / Data Scientist (Applied AI), driving the company’s AI transformation. You will explore, validate, and accelerate next-generation AI use cases by combining rapid experimentation with production-grade engineering.
Responsibilities
- Conceive and execute advanced modeling experiments to unlock new commercial value.
- Design and develop state-of-the-art machine learning models with a strong emphasis on rapid iteration.
- Translate validated prototypes into robust, scalable production systems.
- Apply best practices in MLOps to ensure models are operationalized, performance is monitored, and delivery is reliable.
Requirements
- 2+ years professional experience as an ML Engineer, Applied ML Scientist, or similar role.
- Strong machine learning background and ability to productionize models.
- Essential software engineering rigor: clean code, testing, and Git.
- Strong Python expertise and experience deploying/managing the full lifecycle of complex ML/DL models.
- Experience with unstructured or multi-modal data (e.g., high-dimensional feature vectors, dense embeddings).
- Ability to communicate complex concepts and model limitations clearly to both product teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar). Master’s degree preferred.

- Demonstrated MLOps mindset: moving R&D prototypes into robust, scalable, monitored production solutions.
