MILKSHAKE STUDIO: FRONTEND ENGINEER

Role Overview

Freelance Front-End Engineer (1.5–3 months, with potential extension) for a remote project. You’ll work with a collaborative team to build visually stunning, high-performing websites with strong design fidelity.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces from design prototypes
• Implement animations and micro-interactions to enhance UX
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to maintain functionality and design fidelity
• Optimize for performance and accessibility
• Contribute ideas to solve problems and improve the user experience

Requirements

• Strong frontend experience with Vue, Nuxt, and SCSS
• Familiarity with Sanity.io or similar headless CMS platforms
• Proficiency in animations/micro-interactions using CSS and JavaScript (GSAP)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Excellent communication and proactive, solutions-oriented approach

Nice to Haves

• Experience with WebGL for interactive/immersive visuals
• Familiarity with WordPress, Craft CMS, or Laravel
