Mid to Senior Construction Project Manager- Low Voltage

Role Overview

Mid to Senior Construction Project Manager (Low Voltage) for MGAC’s Critical Environments team. You’ll work as the owner’s representative leading high-visibility projects such as data centers and hospitals, ensuring delivery stays on schedule, scope, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership
  • Independently manage full project scope while coordinating parts of other projects
  • Mentor and lead teams and manage schedule, scope, and budget
  • Lead risk management, contingency planning, and schedule/budget recovery planning
  • Resolve issues and guide informed decisions to keep projects on track
• Design Management & Coordination
  • Manage design platforms/documentation including Autodesk and Procore (file structure, compliance, schedules, design packages)
  • Drive design coordination across partners (EOR alignment, VE discussions, lessons learned, consistent information sharing)
  • Oversee construction administration activities (A&E meetings, submittals/RFIs, site walks, mock-ups)
  • Support change management and cost impact reviews; integrate customer/tenant design needs
  • Act as primary liaison between PM/CM teams and A&E partners
• Financial & Contract Management
  • Ensure timely invoicing and collection
  • Identify and secure add-services opportunities
• Collaboration & Communication
  • Partner with clients, A&E, contractors/GCs, vendors, and internal teams
  • Conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments
  • Anticipate risks and solve complex conflicts

Requirements

• 3+ years of construction project management experience with strong understanding of building design and construction process
• Bachelor’s/Associate’s (or equivalent) in a construction-related discipline
• 2+ years managing critical environment construction projects (e.g., data centers, labs, hospitals)
• 5+ years focused on project management with telecommunications, low-voltage, and fiber optics construction experience
• MEP experience in ground-up construction required
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal/written/presentation)
