Mid/Senior Golang Developer (AI)

Role overview

Join Kryptonim as a Mid/Senior Go (Golang) Developer (AI Native) on a remote team with an option to work from the Warsaw office. You’ll build and evolve robust backend services powering a fiat onramp experience for crypto users.

Responsibilities

• Core engineering (Go): Design, develop, and scale reliable applications in Go.
• AI-assisted development: Use and refine AI-assisted workflows to ship higher-quality code faster.
• System architecture: Evolve architecture to support intelligent features while maintaining performance and technical excellence.
• Quality & mentorship: Participate in code reviews and write comprehensive tests.
• Ownership: Take end-to-end responsibility for features and services.

Requirements

• Technical autonomy: Own architectural and implementation decisions; evaluate trade-offs independently.
• Experience:
  • At least 4 years of backend development (any language)
  • At least 2 years of commercial experience with Go
• AI edge: Use AI tools daily beyond autocomplete (e.g., multi-step workflows, autonomous agents, tool integrations).
• Database: Strong PostgreSQL skills (schema design, migrations, views, query optimization) and comfort with an ORM while understanding underlying SQL.
• API design: Deep understanding of HTTP and REST.
• Security: Secure-by-default mindset (e.g., timing-safe comparisons, replay prevention, encryption at rest).

Nice to have

• Web3: EVM basics, ERC-20 transfers, event monitoring, wallet-based auth (no Solidity required).
• Fintech: Banking/fintech product experience.
• Cloud & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud (AWS/GCP).
• Automation & delivery: CI/CD familiarity and motivation to automate.
• Async processing: Job queues, background workers, retries, dead-letter strategies, event-driven patterns.
