Mid-Level UX/UI Designer [83078]

Role Overview

Mid-Level UX/UI Designer supporting digital product development in the insurance and financial space. This is a remote role (EST or PST) on a contract basis through the end of the year, with potential extension.

Responsibilities

• Design user-centered web applications focused on customer and agent experiences, including:
  • Forms
  • Claim processes
  • Support interfaces
• Lead end-to-end UX processes:
  • User research
  • Ideation
  • Wireframing
  • Prototyping
  • Validation to deliver intuitive digital solutions
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams within Agile workflows
• Engage early to influence product direction and advocate for user-friendly design
• Contribute to conversational/AI-driven experiences (e.g., chatbots, IVR), with willingness to learn new technologies

Requirements

• Proven experience designing web-based digital products with a strong portfolio covering end-to-end design processes
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and deliver high-quality outcomes
• Familiarity working in Agile, cross-functional teams (startup or enterprise)
• Mid-level UX generalist with strong UI fundamentals
