Mid Level Cloud Engineer (all genders) - 100 % Remote

Role: Mid Level Cloud Engineer (all genders)

Full-time, 100% remote (from all of Germany)

Responsibilities

• Operate and support cloud infrastructure in productive environments (not only test setups)
• Manage infrastructure as code and continuously improve your IaC practices
• Roll out and operate Kubernetes workloads, with the ability to understand what’s happening inside the cluster
• Work with existing CI/CD pipelines and extend them
• Automate tasks instead of repeating them manually
• Troubleshoot independently and seek a second opinion when needed
• Quickly learn new technologies, including ones outside your current comfort zone
• Communicate with customers and collaborate effectively within the team
• Support developer workflows by automating solutions across the software engineering lifecycle

Requirements

• First solid professional experience in CloudOps
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu and pipelines
• Production operation experience for cloud infrastructure
• Ability to reason about cluster behavior independently
• Very good English skills (at least C1)
• Optional: first German skills

Nice to have

• Experience with StackIT and/or Telekom Public Cloud
