Mid-Level Backend Developer

Role overview

Mid-Level Backend Developer to help build a new software platform at WPX Hosting. The platform is designed as microservices, where each feature is a separate service communicating via a message broker.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to build and evolve the platform
• Contribute to innovative projects from the ground up
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient backend code
• Design and implement software independently
• Work with cutting-edge tools and technologies

Requirements

• 2+ years experience with OOP using one or more OOP programming languages
• Experience with Relational databases (RDBMS) such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience with Git (version control)
• 1+ years of TypeScript
• Experience with MongoDB and/or Redis
• Experience with Microservice Architectures
• Experience with RabbitMQ and/or Kafka
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with LESS/SASS
• Experience with Linux (e.g., Debian/CentOS)
