Mid-level Agentic DevOps Engineer - Remote - USA

Role Overview

Mid-level Agentic DevOps Engineer (100% remote, USA) supporting production cloud infrastructure at scale. You’ll work with clients either by integrating directly into their teams (Team Augmentation) or by building and delivering client products as part of a FullStack product team.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain production cloud infrastructure at scale
• Create and maintain continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) for applications
• Build, operate, and improve containers and orchestration in cloud environments
• Automate internal tools and workflows using Python scripting
• Contribute to engineering efforts as needed, including maintaining shared libraries
• Troubleshoot and work through complex or new issues with strong attention to detail

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional DevOps experience supporting production cloud infrastructure
• US citizenship and physically located in the US (contractual requirement for a U.S. federal government project)
• Advanced English
• Four-year college degree
• Deep experience with AWS including IAM, EKS, VPC, EC2, Secrets Manager, and Serverless; strong RBAC knowledge
• Hands-on proficiency with Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, and container orchestration
• Proven experience building and maintaining GitHub Actions CI/CD, including GitHub Advanced Security features
• Solid Python scripting experience for automation and internal tools
• Strong Datadog experience
• Familiarity with Lambda, Fargate, and serverless infrastructure
• Ability to work effectively on Agile/Scrum teams and on large, complex systems
• Ability to take extreme ownership over work and deliver client commitments

Nice to Have

• AI-enthusiastic workflow using tools like Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, or Copilot CLI
• Experience with compliance standards such as HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC 2
