Microsoft Security Solutions Architect

Role Overview

Senior Security Solutions Architect at Cyclotron, responsible for driving security sales wins through presales methodology. You will design enterprise deployments of Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance tools and lead client teams through security approaches spanning on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client teams to design security projects and produce budgetary estimates and Statements of Work covering discovery, design, configuration, validation, piloting, deployment, and support of security capabilities
• Provide a holistic presales approach across Cyclotron business units by integrating security concepts across cross-practice engagements
• Support practice development for external presentation and marketing materials
• Use technical expertise to strengthen customer confidence and determine best implementation paths for Microsoft 365 security capabilities
• Collaborate with Cyclotron and customer teams to gather/share information and improve both processes and overall security posture

Requirements

• Strong written work and high-quality presentation skills (create and present materials confidently)
• Must hold at least one of:
  • Microsoft 365 Certified Security Administrator Associate, or
  • Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Must hold CISSP and/or CISM
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft cloud security solutions, including:
  • Microsoft 365 Defender, Azure Sentinel, Azure Defender
  • Azure Active Directory
  • Microsoft Information Protection
  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Microsoft 365 security capabilities
• Prior experience with presales contract creation and scenarios

Nice to Haves / Additional Knowledge

• Security operations (SecOps) experience
• Familiarity with competitive security tools such as Proofpoint, Mimecast, CrowdStrike, Okta, PingFederate, etc.
• Experience with DLP (Data Loss Prevention) and eDiscovery

• Compensation: OTE ~$250K (rates vary in Canada)
