Role overview

Join Anchorage Digital as Member of Technical Staff (Agentic Banking, Product Engineer). You will build full-stack product features in a compliance-sensitive financial environment, owning the full product lifecycle and partnering closely with customers.

Key missions

Design and implement full-stack product functionality, including backend architecture and client/backend state machine models.
Lead ambiguous, cross-functional product initiatives from customer needs through implementation.
Work directly with customers to identify friction points and translate them into:
- clearer APIs, and/or
- improved integration documentation.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle.
Develop deep domain knowledge in crypto and compliance-sensitive workflows.
Collaborate across frontend, backend, APIs, docs, and customer workflows.

Requirements

8+ years of full-stack development experience.
Comfort with financial systems (crypto, fiat banking, payment systems) and/or willingness to learn compliance-sensitive domain deeply.
Strong AI-assisted execution habits, with good judgment on what to delegate vs. what to own.
Comfortable speaking directly with customers and using that input to shape the product.
Excellent written communication (product notes, integration docs, design tradeoffs, customer-facing explanations).
Strong product judgment; ability to simplify ambiguous problems.
Bias toward shipping useful, correct, robust systems.

Nice-to-haves

Demonstrated design sense and a track record of delighting users.
“Tinkerer” mindset with cool demos and novel ideas.

Remote / location

Full remote in the U.S. or Portugal.
