MDM Architect

Role Overview

Architect and lead the design, architecture, and technical delivery of enterprise MDM (Master Data Management) and PIM (Product Information Management) solutions. You will ensure scalable platforms that improve data quality and governance, and that integrate with cloud data and analytics environments to support trusted datasets for advanced analytics and AI/ML.

Responsibilities

• Client advisory & solution leadership
  • Partner with clients to analyze business challenges, define technical requirements, and create solution blueprints.
  • Lead discussions on how MDM/PIM enables future-proof data strategies aligned to analytics and AI goals.
• MDM & PIM solution architecture
  • Act as primary architect: design scalable data models, workflows, hierarchies, and matching/merging schemas.
  • Establish architecture patterns and best practices for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Ensure integration with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and structured data pipelines.
• Implementation & team enablement
  • Oversee configuration and deployment of MDM/PIM systems (e.g., Informatica, Stibo, Reltio, Syndigo).
  • Mentor junior consultants and teams on MDM/PIM methodologies and data quality processes.
  • Produce technical documentation (architecture diagrams, governance processes, user guidelines).
  • Collaborate with QA to build testing frameworks meeting metadata, integration, and quality standards.
• Data quality & AI readiness
  • Design workflows and governance structures that embed validation, data quality checks, and stewardship.
  • Enable lineage tracking and metadata management for traceable, reliable datasets.
  • Conduct post-implementation evaluations to improve governance, quality, and AI readiness.
