Math Content Teacher - Mandarin Speaking Required

Role Overview

Part-time, remote Math Content Teacher (teaching language: English) for elementary-level students at Think Academy Teaching Platform.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary-level mathematics virtually using the Think Academy curriculum and teaching guidance
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons (explain concepts and demonstrate problem-solving techniques)
• Manage and engage an online class of up to 18 students
• Prepare and deliver lessons; grade homework and provide other essential teaching-related support
• Communicate with students and parents and provide timely, personalized feedback

Schedule / Working Pattern

• 12–20 hours per week, typically on weekends or weekday afternoons/evenings
• Roughly 3–7 classes per week
• Intended start: ASAP

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above (all majors welcome; Education or STEM preferred)
• Eligible to apply while still pursuing or completing a Bachelor’s degree
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly responsible, enthusiastic about teaching/education, and comfortable working with kids

Nice to Have

• Prior math teaching experience
• Elementary math competition learning/teaching experience
• Ability to commit for at least one whole semester starting Spring 2026

Compensation

• Pay Range: USD 45/hr or CAD 60/hr
• Pay Structure: Teaching Fee × Number of Classes + Student Retention Bonus (target 15% of Teaching Fee) + Training Allowance
