Marketing Specialist

Role Overview

Marketing Subject Matter Expert (SME) to help an AI lab improve Generative AI performance in marketing domains through high-quality training and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with research and engineering teams to improve AI capabilities in:
  • brand strategy
  • growth marketing
  • customer acquisition
  • campaign planning
• Design realistic, domain-specific marketing tasks that reflect real business challenges and create strong reference solutions.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses using structured scoring rubrics, providing clear, objective feedback on:
  • accuracy
  • reasoning
  • practical applicability
• Develop, refine, and maintain evaluation guidelines and quality standards for marketing tasks.
• Collaborate with other SMEs to ensure consistency, fairness, and accuracy across training datasets.

Requirements

• 8+ years professional marketing experience (e.g., brand strategy, growth/performance marketing, digital marketing, product marketing, integrated marketing communications).
• Strong preference for experience at a consumer brand, marketing agency, or high-growth organization.
• Hands-on experience evaluating AI/LLM outputs using structured rubrics or scoring frameworks (must be described during application).
• Demonstrated career progression (e.g., Marketing Manager → Senior Marketing Manager → Director/VP).
• Ability to commit reliably to at least 35 hours/week on weekdays.
• Strong verbal/written communication and analytical thinking.
• Collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
