Marketing Lead, Experiences & Services

Airbnb is seeking a Marketing Lead to build and lead go-to-market marketing and communications for Experiences & Services. The role partners across product, brand, and performance teams to craft strategy and execution that is both creatively rigorous and consumer-obsessed.

Role overview

  • Lead integrated marketing plans for new product introductions to Airbnb audiences
  • Operate as both a cross-functional leader and individual contributor
  • Shape the consumer journey end-to-end in collaboration with marketers, product, and design

Responsibilities

  • Develop go-to-market strategy, briefs, and communications for major product moments
  • Create creative briefs for marketing needs including:
    • Product naming
    • Launch assets
    • Landing pages
    • Social content
    • (and more)
  • Partner with creative leadership to develop communications such as:
    • Visual identity
    • Naming
    • Event marketing
    • Social assets
    • Landing pages, emails
    • In-product marketing
    • Press assets
  • Lead highly visible workstreams and produce executive-level presentations regularly
  • Define and own the end-to-end consumer journey alongside other stakeholders
  • Monitor, optimize, and improve marketing performance using key metrics and leading indicators

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience (preference for consumer tech; travel/design/lifestyle)
  • Strong product + brand mindset: brand and product are treated as closely linked
  • Experience working closely with product, creative, design, and performance marketing
  • Ability to flex between analytical/technical and creative disciplines
  • Strong storytelling and craft in written/verbal communication and presentation/brief development
  • Comfort leading and collaborating with both creative and technical teams
  • Proficient in Keynote and Figma
  • Passion for data/analytics and improving campaign output with metrics
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and cross-stakeholder alignment

  • Strong design sensibility and ability to articulate why creative/design/content is effective

Location & work setup

  • US Remote Eligible
  • Must be able to work Pacific Time Zone hours as needed
  • Occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites may be required
  • Must live in a state where Airbnb has a registered entity (with exclusions).
