About the role

Role Overview

Summer Design Intern (M.Arch/B.Arch) at Marcus Gleysteen Architects. The internship is available in-office in Deep River, CT or fully remote.

Duration

10–12 weeks, starting late May or June 2026
Compensation provided, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

Drafting and 3D modeling
Project research
Production of presentation and marketing materials
Participate in design discussions and reviews
Assist with site documentation and occasional site visits
General office support

Requirements

Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited M.Arch program, or minimum 3 years in a B.Arch program (or equivalent)
Strong interest in custom residential architecture
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Demonstrated design and visualization ability
Prior architectural office experience (strongly preferred)
Legal authorization to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship
