About the role

Role Overview

Manual QA Tester (Full Remote) at PerformYard. You will ensure a smooth user experience by testing new features and validating changes before they reach customers, collaborating closely with product, development, and QA teams.

Responsibilities

Execute manual test cases for new features, bug fixes, and regression testing
Review product requirements and acceptance criteria to determine testing needs
Perform exploratory testing
Report bugs in Jira, including clear reproduction steps and screenshots
Collaborate with the development and QA teams during sprints

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in manual QA testing, preferably for web applications
Familiarity with Agile practices (e.g., Scrum or Kanban)
Basic understanding of browsers, APIs, and client-server applications
Strong written and verbal communication, especially for documenting test results and bugs
Methodical testing mindset with strong attention to detail
Experience testing SaaS / B2B products
Experience using Jira (or similar issue tracking tools)

Nice to Have

Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail or Xray
Interest in learning automation tools in the future (Playwright, Cypress)
Experience with Postman and browser developer tools
Experience with NoSQL databases
Familiarity with logging/performance tools such as Sentry
