Role Overview
Manual QA Engineer (US) responsible for validating new features, bug fixes, and releases through manual and API testing, with strong documentation and investigation skills.
Responsibilities
- Test new features and verify bug fixes
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
- Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and other QA documentation
- Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios before development is completed
- Test REST APIs using Swagger or Postman
- Verify data using SQL
- Reproduce reported issues and work with developers to investigate root causes
- Participate in refinement sessions and perform release testing
- Help improve testing processes and increase overall test coverage
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Manual QA
- Experience testing web applications
- Experience with Salesforce
- Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of test design techniques
- Ability to create test documentation from scratch
- Experience with Jira and TestRail (or similar)
- Familiarity with browser DevTools
- Experience testing REST APIs
- Basic SQL knowledge
- DB testing experience with Postgres or MySQL
- Experience with CI/CD products
- Basic understanding of Git
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- English sufficient for daily communication
- Experience testing complex enterprise applications
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of automation testing (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.)
- Linux experience
