Role Overview
Seeking Alpha is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join its QA team. In this role, you will perform manual testing for a web and mobile application, create and maintain test documentation, and collaborate with product owners, developers, and customer support to ensure high product quality and a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and customer support stakeholders
- Create and maintain test documentation (checklists, test cases)
- Estimate testing activity execution time
- Execute manual testing for:
- Functional scenarios
- Cross-platform coverage
- UI testing (responsive design)
- Report and maintain defect reports in Jira
- Analyze and evaluate business requirements with product owners
- Identify and communicate QA risks that could impact feature delivery
- Report test execution results to stakeholders
- Support issue investigation
