Manual QA Engineer

Role: Manual QA Engineer I

You’ll join the QA team to plan and execute manual application testing in a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll be expected to write and run test cases, collaborate with others, and contribute to test strategy and tooling improvements.

What You’ll Test

• Payment gateways
• Live chats
• Video streaming technology

These systems support major web browsers, mobile devices, smart TVs, and video consoles, with quality assurance that enables interactive broadcaster-to-viewer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Write test cases for manual testing and execute them with the QA team
• Review code changes to determine what needs to be tested
• Identify opportunities for testing tools and help implement improvements
• Troubleshoot user issues as part of quality assurance

Requirements

• Experience with white box testing
• Ability to write test cases independently
• Experience determining test scope/functionality for varied projects
• Self-motivated learner who can keep up with technology changes
• Willingness to “break things” and investigate issues thoroughly

Nice-to-haves / Bonus

• Familiarity with Python or JavaScript

Salary

• $90,000 – $115,000 USD annually (base salary only)
