About the role

Role Overview

Join DataAnnotation’s team as a Manual QA Engineer – AI Trainer, helping develop cutting-edge AI systems. This is fully remote work where you can choose projects and set your schedule, taking on programming and QA-style tasks that directly train and improve AI models.

Responsibilities

Design and solve coding problems used to train AI systems, with emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and provide detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that shapes the next generation of AI models

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Preferred: experience as a Software Developer / Software Engineer / Programmer

Nice-to-haves

Preferred experience in Kotlin
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift

Additional Details

Paid hourly per project (up to $60 USD/hour), with potential for higher-paying projects based on performance
Work available for contributors located in: US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand
