About the role

Role Overview

Join DataAnnotation’s coding team as a Manual QA Engineer – AI Trainer. You’ll help train AI systems by evaluating and improving AI-generated code and explanations, while working with flexible, remote scheduling.

Responsibilities

Design and solve coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and provide detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that directly shapes improvements to AI models

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Preferred: prior experience as a Software Developer / Coder / Software Engineer / Programmer
Preferred technical: Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift

Work Details

Fully remote with a flexible schedule (choose projects and when you work)
Paid hourly, with opportunities for higher-paying projects based on performance
Access to work begins after a short assessment
Availability limited to US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand

Compensation

Up to $60 USD/hour (hourly; higher rates may be available with strong performance)
