About the role
Role overview
As a Manual QA Engineer – AI Trainer for DataAnnotation, you’ll help develop and refine AI systems by working on programming tasks and evaluating AI-generated code. The role emphasizes flexibility—you can choose projects and set your own schedule—and is fully remote for eligible countries.
Responsibilities
- Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
- Write clear, high-quality code snippets along with detailed explanations
- Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
- Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models
Requirements
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
- Excellent writing and grammar skills
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress
- Preferred: experience as a Software Developer/Coder/Engineer/Programmer
Preferred / Nice to have
- Kotlin experience
- Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift
Logistics & compensation
- Fully remote (work from anywhere in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand)
- Flexible schedule: choose which projects you take on and when you work
- Paid hourly, up to $60 USD/hour; higher-paying projects may be available with strong performance
