About the role

Role Overview

Manager, Technical Delivery leads a team of customer-facing technical professionals responsible for designing and delivering high-quality SaaS implementations. The manager ensures solutions meet customer requirements and platform capabilities while driving scalable, predictable delivery and operational excellence.

Team & Context

  • Clutch Professional Services implements the Clutch platform for Credit Union customers
  • Focus is Customer Success (not just going live, but enabling renewal and expansion)
  • The company is scaling its systems, tools, and delivery motion

What You’ll Do

Within 3 Months

  • Learn the Clutch Product suite and troubleshoot common platform issues
  • Own the team and full portfolio of projects, proactively mitigating risk and unblocking Implementation Engineers
  • Ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery for customer implementations and service projects
  • Drive consistency and quality across complex, multi-workstream SaaS implementations

Within 6 Months

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical or project challenges
  • Partner with Services leadership to forecast demand, optimize resource utilization, and support hiring/staffing
  • Lead capacity planning, skills alignment, and utilization reporting
  • Partner with Enablement to improve technical documentation and processes

Within 9 Months

  • Define and track KPIs to highlight team performance and growth areas
  • Provide timely feedback to the Product team
  • Deliver executive-level reporting on resource forecasting, portfolio performance, and trends
  • Oversee a steady delivery motion with low escalation risk and an engaged team

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years in Software Delivery (SaaS Professional Services, Solution Architecture, Implementation)
  • 2+ years in Team Lead or Manager roles
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management
  • Experience supporting global/multi-region delivery teams
  • 2+ years integrating with web APIs
  • Quick learning and ability to understand complex systems (APIs, databases, SDKs, AI tooling)
  • Self-starter who can assess, troubleshoot, work autonomously, and drive business outcomes
  • Knowledge/experience with Python, JSON, GitHub, terminal
  • Nice to have: JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js)
