Role overview

As Manager, Product Management for the Traffic Growth team at Zillow, you’ll lead product managers responsible for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). You will set roadmap direction for organic growth in both traditional search and AI search, and build a strong experimentation cadence to improve visibility and traffic/brand presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of product managers across technical, content, localization, and distribution-related workstreams for SEO and GEO.
• Set strategy, roadmap, and OKRs to deliver on Traffic Objectives and Key Results for Organic Visits and AI Search visibility.
• Drive content integration strategy to improve helpfulness for buyers, sellers, and renters and increase discoverability across SEO and AI surfaces.
• Partner with Traffic Engineering to ship improvements involving:
  • templates and rendering patterns
  • structured data
  • internal linking
  • content pipelines
• Define experimentation success metrics, turn learnings into repeatable playbooks, and continuously improve the experimentation cadence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve AI visibility and strengthen Zillow presence where AI models learn.
• Identify portfolio gaps and resourcing needs as the program expands.

Requirements

• Strong people leadership skills; ability to build a high-trust coaching culture and deliver results through others.
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, including:
  • crawl/index
  • rendering/SSR
  • structured data
  • internal linking
  • content quality signals
• Comfort making critical GEO decisions and planning for future changes as the ecosystem evolves.
• Proven track record delivering growth-impacting content experiences or localized integrations, ideally at scale with measurable outcomes.
