Manager Mobile Platform Engineer

Role overview

Lead and scale the mobile platform engineering function as a Manager, Mobile Platform Engineer. This is a full-time remote role for candidates located in the PST time zone.

Required technical skills

• Swift / iOS and Kotlin / Android
• Experience publishing apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play
• MVVM and Clean Architecture
• React Native or Kotlin Multiplatform (preferred)
• Mobile CI/CD and testing practices

Leadership & AI-driven engineering responsibilities

• Define and scale AI-driven SDLC standards, including:
  • tools
  • guardrails
  • automation patterns
• Hands-on AI-assisted development experience (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to deliver production systems
  • articulate workflow impact and guardrails
• Document and scale architectural decisions and organizational learning
• Partner with distributed teams across US, China, and LATAM

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with significant tenure at Staff/Principal level
• Strong leadership in standardizing software development processes and architecture at scale

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (preferred over React Native)
• Experience integrating and governing AI-assisted development tools in production delivery
