Manager - MHE Technical Trainer

Role Overview

Kenco is hiring a Manager - MHE Technical Trainer to develop, lead, and continuously improve a technical training program for the MHE (Material Handling Equipment) service organization. You will oversee curriculum strategy, delivery, and evaluation to build technician competencies and professional skills while aligning training with business objectives and evolving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of technical trainers (coaching, performance management, workload prioritization, professional development).
• Build and execute the technical training strategy aligned to service quality goals and technician development needs.
• Partner with operations leadership to identify training needs using performance data, quality metrics, customer feedback, new equipment introductions, and expansion plans.
• Oversee curriculum development using instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
• Ensure content is delivered through the right modalities, including:
  • Classroom instruction
  • Hands-on labs
  • E-learning and virtual sessions
  • On-the-job coaching
• Use evaluation data to improve curriculum and delivery methods.
• Maintain deep technical expertise in material handling equipment systems, staying current on manufacturer updates, emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, and Operations to integrate technical training with talent development, safety protocols, quality programs, and performance management.
• Manage training infrastructure such as learning management system administration, training documentation libraries, equipment/tool inventories, training facility management, and digital learning platforms.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for complex escalations and challenging field/customer technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, education, business, or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 6–8 years of progressive experience (as indicated in the posting; further details are cut off).
