Manager HR Business Partner

Role Overview

Lead and develop a team of HR Business Partners (Behavior Management) at LinkedIn, advising people leaders on employee conduct, workplace behavior, and sensitive/disciplinary matters. Ensure decisions and outcomes are consistent, fair, compliant, and aligned with business needs, company values, risk mitigation, and employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop the Team: Hire, coach, develop, and support HR Business Partners specializing in behavior management; foster accountability, inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Handle Complex/Sensitive Cases: Serve as escalation point for high-risk or complex behavior, conduct, and disciplinary cases; ensure strong partner approach with leaders.
• Drive Consistency & Equity: Standardize decision-making, documentation, and case management; calibrate recommendations for fair, consistent, equitable treatment.
• Strategic Consultation: Support leaders with workplace behavior, policy adherence, interpersonal conflict, and team effectiveness; align outcomes to values and risk.
• Improve Manager Effectiveness: Build manager capability via coaching/consultation and scalable guidance; identify recurring patterns and create frameworks, training, and best practices.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure employee matters follow company policy, employment law, and regional requirements; partner with Legal, Employee Relations, Compliance, and Functional HRBPs; monitor risk trends and recommend mitigation actions.

Location / Work Style

• Hybrid or remote depending on team needs and designation.
• Can be based in San Francisco, Mountain View, Chicago, or New York.
