Manager Deal Desk & Order Management

Role Overview

Manager, Deal Desk & Order Management (hands-on) within Finance at Doxel. You will partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success to structure, execute, and operationalize commercial deals—ensuring approved pricing flows cleanly into order setup and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Deal structuring & approval review

  • Structure deals to balance growth, profitability, and risk while aligning to approved pricing, discount guardrails, and contract templates.
  • Partner with Sales and Legal on pricing, terms, and non-standard requests.
  • Own contract governance: template usage, approval routing, exception handling, and coordination on customer paper.
  • Set and enforce deal turnaround standards; triage and route review requests based on approval and legal complexity.
  • Enforce pricing and discounting policies and properly escalate exceptions through approval workflows.
  • Advise executives on deal tradeoffs and financial implications with clear recommendations.

• Post-contract coordination & order management

  • Serve as the operational bridge between Sales, Finance, and Customer Success for clean handoffs.
  • Ensure order data (e.g., billing start dates, payment terms, project start triggers) is correctly configured for invoicing.
  • Coordinate activation events (e.g., usage go-live, project launch, delivery milestones) that impact billing and revenue recognition.
  • Support accounting with troubleshooting to prevent discrepancies in account setup, PO matching, and system data syncs.

• Process design & optimization

  • Refine the end-to-end deal process by reducing friction, simplifying approvals, and strengthening accountability.
  • Build scalable templates, playbooks, and dashboards to improve consistency and deal velocity.
  • Establish and evolve guardrails related to revenue recognition (as part of maintaining clean, auditable deal-to-invoice flow).
