Manager, Content Marketing

Role Overview

Manager, Content Marketing at Very Good Ventures. You will lead strategic demand generation and go-to-market content efforts—turning market insight into pipeline momentum and connecting marketing touchpoints to revenue outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Use AI tools (including Claude Code and LLM workflows) to accelerate content production while maintaining quality.
• Build AI-assisted workflows for drafting, editing, repurposing, and scaling content across formats (e.g., converting interviews and case studies into multi-asset campaigns).
• Stay current on how AI impacts content creation, distribution, and discovery, and apply insights to VGV content operations.
• Drive AI fluency across the marketing team as a core operational advantage.
• Ensure sales enablement needs are met with the right assets (e.g., case studies, competitive positioning, ROI frameworks, capability narratives).
• Partner with technical delivery and sales teams to capture client stories and surface proof points that resonate with enterprise buyers.
• Maintain an up-to-date library of polished, credible sales assets aligned with VGV capabilities and wins.
• Own content strategy and program leadership across channels and formats, defining what to make, for whom, and why it matters to the business.

Requirements

• Strategic leadership experience in content/demand generation with measurable pipeline or revenue impact.
• Strong AI-first marketing mindset and ability to actively use AI tools to inform strategy, test ideas, and personalize at scale.
• Experience using GitHub.
• Practical understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript to manage websites.
• Ability to coordinate internal experts and external partners; not a “lone writer.”

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience producing content that sells to sophisticated enterprise buyers (implied by enablement/proof point focus).
