Major Account Manager (Federal Government)

Role Overview

Major Account Manager (Federal Government) at Palo Alto Networks (full remote). You will drive and orchestrate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles for Federal Government accounts, aligning customer needs with tailored cybersecurity solutions.

Key Missions / Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with key Federal Government stakeholders to drive sales and revenue growth.
• Lead end-to-end, complex sales cycles, coordinating with internal teams and partners to serve customers effectively.
• Use consultative selling to identify business challenges and create tailored solutions for prospects and existing customers.
• Build a channel partner–centric go-to-market approach by cultivating relationships with channel partners.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of the full sales cycle and ability to follow a structured sales process.
• Experience selling complex solutions using value selling and/or consultative sales techniques.
• Public Sector Federal Government experience and knowledge.
• Technical aptitude for understanding how security/technology products solve business problems.
• Experience working with SaaS-based architectures, ideally within networking and/or security.
• Strong communication skills; English and German proficiency (written and spoken).
• Ability to analyze information (e.g., review data, identify root causes) and propose scalable solutions.
• Excellent time management with high autonomy.

• Background in the networking and/or security industry beyond general SaaS architecture familiarity.
