Machine Learning Scientist - Remote

Role Overview

As a Machine Learning Scientist (Remote), you will develop actionable insights and recommendations aligned to business objectives. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineering professionals to deliver timely, reliable analytics and ML solutions for areas like risk management, efficiency, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Scope, structure, and drive analytical projects from requirements through delivery.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Source, validate, and integrate structured and unstructured data across platforms.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover data quality issues and opportunities.
• Analyze business trends, time series patterns, model performance, and causal relationships using advanced statistical/ML/deep learning methods.
• Design, build, and deploy machine learning/deep learning models, including:
  • NLP, computer vision, and LLM-based solutions
  • From rapid prototyping to production deployment
• Create visualizations, dashboards, and reports to support organizational decision-making.
• Own and maintain recurring analytical, reporting, and model-monitoring processes.
• Document data pipelines, model architecture, and analytical frameworks for knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in machine learning and/or deep learning.
• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Ability to build and deploy ML models with:
  • scikit-learn
  • PyTorch
  • Hugging Face Transformers
• Experience with cloud data platforms/warehouses and storage, including:
  • Snowflake and/or PostgreSQL
  • Amazon S3
• Strong written/verbal communication and stakeholder-facing skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and drive projects with minimal oversight.

Nice-to-Haves

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
