About the role
Role Overview
Machine Learning Engineer responsible for the development, deployment, and support of Harbor Freight’s machine learning operations and Enterprise AI platform. The role is technical and analytical, spanning model training tools, monitoring, feature stores, deployments, and ongoing model maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Work with data scientists and IT to develop and implement an Enterprise AI platform.
- Build and maintain an industry-leading MLOps technology stack.
- Mentor data scientists and help ensure models are best-in-class.
- Optimize scalability, performance, and reliability of models using industry best practices.
- Streamline data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training workflows to improve efficiency and reduce latency.
- Design, build, and maintain a secure and scalable CI/CD framework for data science teams.
- Collaborate across organizations including data science, application teams, security, software engineering, and business partners.
Requirements
- Experienced Machine Learning Engineer with strong technical skills and business acumen.
- Strong data modeling and data warehousing expertise.
- Ability to operate across multiple organizational levels and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
