Role Overview

Machine Learning Engineer (Contract, Remote) Develop, train, and deploy production-ready machine learning models to address real-world business problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy ML models using TensorFlow and Scikit-Learn.
• Perform end-to-end data preprocessing: cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business analysts to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Monitor, evaluate, and refine model performance in production for accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
• Document development processes and communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current with ML research and apply new techniques to improve outcomes.

Requirements

• Expert proficiency in TensorFlow and Scikit-Learn for end-to-end model development and deployment.
• Strong background in data preprocessing (e.g., missing values, outlier detection, feature selection).
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing production-ready ML systems.
• Solid understanding of algorithm selection, model evaluation metrics, and performance tuning.
• Ability to work independently and remotely in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
