About the role

Role Overview

Machine Learning Engineer (100% Remote). You will design, build, and operate machine learning and deep learning systems—especially for time-series prediction and e-commerce/retail user recommendation use cases.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop machine learning algorithms and deep learning applications.
  • Build and improve time series prediction models for e-commerce/retail.
  • Solve complex problems using multilayered datasets, including optimizing existing ML libraries/frameworks.
  • Identify data distribution biases and mitigate their impact on real-world model performance.
  • Ensure algorithms generate accurate and effective user recommendations.
  • Perform ML testing and experimentation; document findings and results.
  • Train, retrain, and monitor ML models/systems as needed.

Requirements / Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep math and CS foundation (probability, statistics, algorithms).
  • In-depth knowledge of ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
  • Experience with time series prediction models in e-commerce/retail.
  • Familiarity with data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • Strong software/data engineering skills with Python, plus experience in Java and R.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud and Snowflake.
  • Expertise in building ML systems and hyperparameter tuning.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in CS, mathematics, or related field.
