Machine Learning Engineer

Role Overview

A client team is seeking a Remote Machine Learning Engineer to support machine learning enablement and the delivery of production-ready ML pipelines. You will work closely with engineers and customers (business analysts, data scientists, and other internal teams) to accelerate their ML projects and improve the overall ML experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale ML models using data to support proactive, trends-driven sales capabilities.
• Pair with other engineers and collaborate with business users and other engineering teams.
• Analyze ML adoption and needs among users, then help plan improvements to the ML experience.
• Assist other teams with MLOps to deliver end-to-end production ML model pipelines, including:
  • Cloud deployment and serving
  • Model training and lifecycle automation
  • Packaging and infrastructure support for production
• Build your own ML models for other teams to adopt.
• Contribute to a team culture focused on learning, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.

Requirements

• 1–6+ years of ML and data engineering experience.
• CS degree or Master’s in ML/AI (or equivalent experience).
• Strong Python proficiency, including PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience with GCP, specifically Vertex AI.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Understanding of data science from hypothesis to production.
• Strong software engineering background.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience building at least 2+ models from scratch.
