Machine Learning Engineer Intern

Role Overview

Join Genies as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern. Work with technical artists, engineers, and artists to explore new concepts and technologies that enable users to build their own avatar ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and workflows to support training and experimentation with multi-view generative models.
• Explore techniques to improve multi-view consistency so that outputs support coherent geometric and textural reconstruction.
• Prototype and evaluate models that improve integration between 2D generation and downstream 3D reconstruction pipelines.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills; present findings clearly and effectively.
• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and recent computer vision topics.
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a PhD/Master program in Computer Science, AI, ML, or related fields.
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to conduct research and prototype solutions based on academic literature.
• Familiarity with Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or Hugging Face.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with multi-view generation, 3D reconstruction, or view-consistent generative models.
• Familiarity with diffusion models / generative AI systems.
• Experience working with 3D data (e.g., meshes, normals, UV textures).
• Knowledge of avatar generation pipelines or asset retrieval systems.
