Machine Learning Engineer (Evisort)

Role overview

Join the Evisort AI team at Workday as a Machine Learning Engineer. You will build tailored, personalized user experiences using advanced LLMs, Knowledge Graphs, and predictive analysis, and deliver ML solutions across Workday’s product ecosystem.

Key missions

• Develop personalized user experiences using large language models, knowledge graphs, and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver machine learning solutions across Workday products, supporting the training, deployment, and end-to-end lifecycle management of ML models.
• Stay current with IA/AI advancements, including LLMs, RAG, autonomous agents, and orchestration frameworks, to drive innovation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science / machine learning engineering or related software development teams building applied ML products at scale, including stages from applied research through production evaluation.
• 2+ years working with large language models (text generation) and/or graph neural network models for real-world use cases.
• 2+ years building production services to host ML models at scale.
• 2+ years with ML/deep learning frameworks and toolkits: PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• 2+ years with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, supervised/unsupervised ML, and NLP for retrieval/recommendation use cases.
• Ability to solve ambiguous, open-ended problems independently and technically lead.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; experience leading/mentoring/managing ML engineering teams, owning development lifecycle and sprint planning.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG, autonomous agents, and orchestration frameworks (explicitly encouraged).
