About the role
Role overview
LLM & RL Engineer | Agentic Engineer at YC Bench. Full-time and remote. You will develop and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning (RL) algorithms to analyze and predict startup success metrics.
Responsibilities
- Process and prepare data for predictive modeling
- Build, optimize, and evaluate predictive models
- Design workflows to integrate LLMs into operational systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced ML solutions
- Continuously explore and apply new ML advancements to improve platform prediction quality
Requirements
- Strong expertise in LLMs, NLP, and fine-tuning pre-trained models
- Solid understanding of reinforcement learning (RL) concepts, tools, and applications
- Experience with data preparation, cleaning, and feature engineering
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Strong foundation in machine learning and data analysis
- Experience deploying and scaling models on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Excellent problem-solving skills; able to work independently and collaboratively
Nice to have
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Experience with the startup ecosystem / early-stage companies
