Lithuanian Localization QA Tester Proofreader

Role: Lithuanian Localization QA Tester / Proofreader

You’ll help bring high-quality Lithuanian content to life by ensuring it is natural, accurate, polished, and culturally appropriate for end users.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine localized content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, formatting, and cultural/contextual accuracy.
• Execute test cases for digital products and verify issues after fixes are implemented.
• Discover, document, and report localization bugs and errors using internal/client bug-tracking systems.
• Evaluate translations in context of software, mobile apps, and documentation.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Lithuanian (Lithuania), including researching and resolving linguistic questions.
• Follow project-specific quality standards, style guides, checklists, and glossaries; escalate testing issues when needed.
• Occasionally translate content from English into Lithuanian.

Requirements

• Native-level Lithuanian fluency and strong cultural awareness of Lithuania.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Ability to understand, prioritize, and complete tasks efficiently.
• Highly organized; able to follow testing instructions and test cases.
