Legal Operations Specialist

Role Overview

Join Wellthy as a Legal Operations Specialist supporting the evolution of the company’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system (Ironclad). You’ll report to the General Counsel and help mature legal operations through better workflows, reporting, and contract intake/triage.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and mature Wellthy’s CLM: evolve Ironclad workflows, build manuals, refine workflows, and develop templates.
• Create visibility & reporting in Ironclad: build dashboards/panels and reports covering contract volume, lifecycle timelines, and bottlenecks.
• Manage contracting intake and triage: ensure agreements are routed appropriately and handled efficiently.
• First-pass contract review for high-frequency agreements: serve as the initial reviewer and manage delegated matters from start to finish.
• Identify and drive process improvements across legal operations.
• Support broader legal operations initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience performing first-pass reviews of standard commercial contracts, including identifying deviations from standard terms.
• 2–4 years of experience in legal operations, contracts, paralegal, or a CLM-adjacent role.
• Preference for Ironclad certification.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong time/task management.
• Strong ability to operate independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
• Interest in emerging technology and comfort learning/experimenting/evolving processes.
