About the role

Role Overview

Join Jus Mundi as a Legal Engineer (APAC) based in Singapore. This is a dual role combining business development and client success: you’ll engage with the legal community across Asia-Pacific, guide clients through their AI adoption journey, and partner with the commercial team to grow Jus Mundi’s presence in the region.

Key Missions

  • Engage with law firms, arbitration institutions, and in-house legal teams across Asia-Pacific to understand research workflows and challenges.
  • Build a reputation as a trusted, well-informed resource for the international arbitration community through targeted presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Guide new clients through onboarding, defining a clear success plan and ensuring a smooth transition to active platform usage.

Required Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer with ~5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Meaningful experience in international arbitration.
  • Based in Singapore.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly across Asia-Pacific.

Profile / What You’ll Need

  • Strong grounding in international arbitration practice, with the ability to engage credibly with lawyers and institutions.
  • Commercial awareness and proactive mindset to identify and pursue opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, adaptable to audiences (1:1 to conference groups).
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and its implications for legal practice; willing to learn and become an advocate for Jus Mundi.
  • Ownership and good judgment across varied responsibilities with a degree of autonomy.
  • Relationship-driven, culturally attuned approach to building trust across Asia’s legal markets.

Bonus Skills

  • Mandarin Chinese proficiency.
  • Prior client-facing or business development experience in legal services or legal technologies.
  • Familiarity with legal research databases or legal technology tools.
