About the role
Role Overview
Legal Counsel (EPC Counsel) for a growing renewable energy platform.
You will support construction, procurement, and project-related commercial matters across utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects in a remote/hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and manage EPC and related commercial agreements, including:
- EPC agreements
- Equipment supply agreements
- O&M agreements
- Master services agreements
- Vendor agreements and other project contracts
- Partner with cross-functional teams across Legal, Construction, Procurement, Development, Finance, and Operations.
- Advise on contract risk and execution issues, including:
- claims
- warranties
- change orders
- delays
- disputes
- broader project execution matters
Requirements
- J.D.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 3+ years of relevant legal experience
- Experience with EPC/construction, procurement, equipment supply, O&M, or other complex commercial agreements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in renewable energy, power, infrastructure, or project development
Work Environment
