About the role

Role Overview

Legal Counsel (EPC Counsel) for a growing renewable energy platform.

You will support construction, procurement, and project-related commercial matters across utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects in a remote/hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, negotiate, and manage EPC and related commercial agreements, including:
    • EPC agreements
    • Equipment supply agreements
    • O&M agreements
    • Master services agreements
    • Vendor agreements and other project contracts
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Legal, Construction, Procurement, Development, Finance, and Operations.
  • Advise on contract risk and execution issues, including:
    • claims
    • warranties
    • change orders
    • delays
    • disputes
    • broader project execution matters

Requirements

  • J.D.
  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 3+ years of relevant legal experience
  • Experience with EPC/construction, procurement, equipment supply, O&M, or other complex commercial agreements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in renewable energy, power, infrastructure, or project development

Work Environment

  • Flexible work environment: Remote/Hybrid
