Legal Counsel - Remote

Role Overview

Legal Counsel (PBM Contracting) provides tactical legal advice and support to internal teams, typically at the Director or Vice President level.

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical legal advice and support to internal clients across PBM, pharmacy/specialty pharmacy, government programs, and other assigned functions
• Conduct legal research, draft documents, and perform transactional work for legal matters—especially client-facing contracting and support for account management
• Advise internal clients on regulatory compliance and adherence to corporate policies; develop and facilitate legal training; investigate issues as needed
• Deliver client training on legal principles
• Coordinate with in-house and outside counsel when appropriate

Minimum Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD)
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5+ years as an attorney (or related legal experience) and at least 3 years working with managed care companies or other healthcare clients
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

• Preferred: Experience with PBMs, pharmacies, and/or health benefit insurers
